- NaugaNeedles has signed up two new distributors in UK and China, CN Technical Services Limited and Shanghai NTI
- NaugaNeedles has partnered with uFluidix , a Toronto based lab-on-a chip manufacturer, to produce platforms for bio-analytical applications. uFluidix is an international supplier of microfluidics platforms to top international institutes. Their scalable and innovative manufacturing technology complements NN's strength in fabrication of high aspect ratio probes for the batch manufacturing of integrated devices that feature on-chip biosensors. the partnership is expected to result in the production of low-cost and disposable lab-on-a-chip devices.
September 2011: Dr. Romaneh Jalilian has been awarded a fellowship from American Society for Engineering and Education (ASEE) to work at NaugaNeedles.
April 2011: NaugaNeedles has been awarded a $375,000 grant from Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC).
February 2011: NaugaNeedles has been awarded a Phase II SBIR from NSF ($500,000), titled "batch fabrication of high aspect ratio metallic AFM probes".
March 2010: NaugaNeedles has been awarded a 100,000 grant from Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC) .
